1. THE PACKAGING

We received the product in the usual Amazon box.

The outer packaging consists ofcardboard, the inner packaging consists of EPS and cardboard.
The bottles were packed in a folding carton. The product was well protected by the packaging. The bottles were additionally protected with bubble wrap.

Our testers found the packaging to be not very sustainable, as all the accessories were individually packaged in plastic.
The fermentation vessel, for example, is packed in packaging made of EPS (expanded polystyrene rigid foam); an alternative to this would be to use puffed corn semolina.

The brand name, address and barcode are clearly visible on the outer packaging. There are no other contact options, such as telephone number or email address.


2. THE FIRST IMPRESSION

After opening it, we immediately noticed that the product was well thought out.

After unpacking, the product did not have an unpleasant smell.

The product is a beer brewing set for at home, which is intended to reproduce the feeling of real beer brewing.

The first use is good - the set comes with lots of accessories.
The following parts are included in the scope of delivery:

3. THE PRACTICE TEST

The product was developed as a gift idea. The beer brewing set fulfills this purpose excellently.

Below we briefly explain how the test product works:
For the brewing process you need the supplied accessories as well as your own kitchen appliances.
After the brewing process is complete, it takes up to 5 weeks before you can use the final product.

We found it particularly positive that every accessory had been thought of.
There are also bottles into which the end product can be filled.

The product has a clear benefit and offers the user the following advantages, among others:

In our practical test we noticed some quality defects in the accessories, but these do not have an impact on the beer brewing process. For example, the lids supplied seem a bit thin, the swing tops on the bottles are made of plastic and the measuring spoon is made of plastic.

The beer brewing set is very easy to use. Our testers found no risk of injury when used properly.
